AI Image Upscaling for Wall Art

A larger pixel count gives you more room to print an image at a useful resolution. AI upscaling estimates additional detail; it cannot guarantee that every invented detail is correct. Fine labels, diagrams and faces deserve a close check.

Choose a scale, then inspect the result

1. Upload the artwork and open Upscale.
2. Choose 2×, 4× or 6×. The 6× option uses Topaz and a size-based credit quote.
3. Check the displayed output dimensions and credit cost before running the tool.
4. Review the finished image at full size, especially small text, then choose the available download format.

Pixels matter more than a DPI label

A 2,000 × 3,000 pixel image becomes 4,000 × 6,000 pixels at 2×. At 300 pixels per inch, that output supports approximately 13.3 × 20 inches. Changing a file's DPI metadata alone does not add detail.

Can I upscale after expanding an image?

Yes. Image Expand produces a new current result which you can select in Upscale. Local expansion adds canvas; AI expansion generates new surrounding content. Inspect those new edges before enlarging them further.

AI processing needs an account and available credits. Local tools do not use AI credits. Results depend on the source image and the model; always follow your printer's requirements.
